The Catenary Series
The Catenary Series is part of the TALAIA summer course directed by Estel Boada with current and former 3rd and 4th year students of La Massana, in collaboration with La Capella. The broad range of concepts and fields they have juggled with include: waiting, balance, panic, adrenaline, inclusivity, mystery, expectation, pattern, time, capitalism, society, unity and hacking. Everything is interconnected to lead us to the same place of waiting, a queue in which we are immersed and from which we cannot detach ourselves. Let us accept it and play in this eternal “non-space”.
The Catenary Series involves a number of exhibition and performance activities to be held over the course of a month in the form of mutant installations, immersive actions and interactive publications.
Artistic crew: Berta Jové, Anna Bosch, Ari Cardozo, Michele Perna, Neus Martínez, Esther Solé, Sofía Astiazaraín, Laura Domínguez Solé, Laura Paz Muñoz, Abril Witty, Daniel Verín, Maria Oliveras, Marta Fernández Jara and Estel Boada.
