Artists I like: Joseph Beuys, Reinhard Mucha, Mike Kelley, Paul McCarthy, Jason Rhoades, Thomas Hirschhom, Gonzalo Puch. Of the young ones, Alejandro Cánovas is by far my favourite. He's the best, a fantastic, marvellous, incredible artist. The truth is you don't see work as good as his every day, and people are just not ready for it. But... what can we do? It's not my problem. I can't help being perfect and marvellous. It just comes naturally, it's easy and I like it. I'm happy. No matter how hard I try to be mediocre and pathetic, I can't. Life is giving me such intense experiences... I only know I can't give up. That's how it is with me, and if anyone doesn't like it, well, that's just too bad.
