Repetir Curvar Coincidir (Repeat Bend Coincide)
Milena Rossignoli says:
‘To learn to fall, you have to fall many times, until the body knows how to move correctly without having to think about it; sometimes it seems to me that the body learns movements before the mind. Sometimes, if I think too much about it, it doesn’t work out.
If to coincide etymologically means “to fall twice at the same point”, then the place where this happens is essential.
I imagined places contaminated by their own architecture. Floors, windows and small columns. I imagined disciplines contaminated by their own will. Drawing, sculpture, aikido. Repeat, bend, coincide.’
