Són els microorganismes els que tindran l’última paraula. Activity 4: Romeria and Miso Party

Tuesday May 1, 2018, at 11am

Let’s finish.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO so we can start again.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO so we can start again, as always happens with fermentation.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO so we can start again, as always happens with fermentation that has led us to explore new contexts.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO so we can start again, as always happens with fermentation that has led us to explore new contexts, people and micro-organisms.

Let’s finish, let’s go on a pilgrimage and let’s open the MISO so we can start again, as always happens with fermentation that has led us to explore new contexts, people and micro-organisms to whom we are infinitely grateful.

“THANK YOU for having shared valuable micro-organisms with all of us (you, them, me) and for feeding our potential for cultivating other forms of peaceful harmony, transgressive healing strategies and ways of undermining reproductive conventions. THANK YOU for their (your, my) constant dedication and love through, with, around and beyond their (our, your, my) work that is defined in projects such as Són els microorganismes els que tindran l'última paraula (Micro-organisms will have the last word). And perhaps last, but not least, THANK YOU to the micro-organisms that daily continue to feed such an experience and commonly protect the contexts in which we all (me, you, them, us) can continue to ferment. Nowadays, an entire community of micro-organisms has spread and will never retreat. To close, the words of Haraway with which I (we, they, you) began: ‘I love that when «I» die, all these benign and dangerous symbionts will take over and use whatever is left’ (Haraway, 2007:3-4).”

Excerpt from “Sobre microorganismes i últim(es) paraula(es)....”, written by Lara Garcia Diaz for the project publication. THANK YOU, Lara.

On 1 May, we hope to see you at 11.00 am at La Capella to receive the Miso and to take it on a pilgrimage together to the Nyamnyam space. Once there, we will hold a party. If you wish to attend, it is very important that you bring your offering in the form of ingredients that you want to cook together. The activity is intergenerational and will go on for as long as our strength lasts.

If you want to come, send an email to i@nyamnyam.net
