Discussion “Black Swallow, Wet Wind: Meteorology, Emotions and Artificial Intelligence”

Discussion by Antònia Folguera, independent curator; Francesc Mauri, meteorologist; Casimiro Carrino, AI and sentiment analysis in social media expert (UPC), and Anna Pasco Bolta, artist.

The discussion will address various approaches, such as how human perceptions of reality can be understood as one possible view among many others, what we can discover or learn through semantic analysis of social media content, whether AI can better connect us with reality and also questions about the reliability of weather sayings and the role of fiction in weather prediction.

The discussion will present ZENZ(A)I, a project created as part of Barcelona Producció in the modality of Digital Environments.
