Mapping La Capella. Visual routes for speculating on the history of the complex
This workshop invites participants to chart a route through the interior of La Capella based on a drawing of four characteristic spaces in the building: the threshold of the entrance to the garden, La Capella as a space of artistic reflection, the Espai Finestres as a device for observing the outside, and the Mirador as the connecting thread in the account. The aim is to dissect the complex’s histories by means of an exercise in observation and visual speculation. We are looking to record textures, reveal tracks and to fictionalise narratives that trace poetic lines in order to map the visible and the non-visible of this former hospital, now a cultural complex.
There will be two sessions, the first from 7pm to 9pm and the second from 9pm to 0 am.
Workshops with limited capacity. Registration is required by sending an email to: lacapella@bcn.cat
