L'art domèstic
Antonio Ortega, with the name of L'art domèstic (Domestic Art), presented (grouped for the first time) a summary of his work of the last few years, a remarkable and surprising repertory of recordings of time and life through graphics, videos, photographs and drawings The installation evokes an imaginary museum. The day-to-day is measured and documented obsessively: from the growth of plants, the energy we dedicate to their care, the process of toasting a slice of bread, the reactions of a person trapped in a room and even their own creativity. Ortega presents us with an ironic, utopian metaphor: domestic art or domesticated art ?, while he comments upon the condition of the artist and his work as though it were a ready-made of life.
