Els tres Pallars
Els tres Pallars
In 1916, Cebrià Montoliu organised the Exposición de Construcción Cívica y Habitación Popular (Exhibition of Civic Construction and Traditional Housing) in the Social Museum of Barcelona, with the aim of explaining the evolution of the city through organic urban planning. One of the projects he included was a garden city on a block in the Provençals de Poblenou area, a project that was never completed. In collaboration with the Historical Archive of Poblenou, this project traces the material and social history of this block and its surroundings in order to explain the process of gentrification in Barcelona.
