Presentation of the Collide artistic residency award
On November 25, Barcelona City Council puts an end to three years of collaboration with CERN (Geneva) as part of the Collide Award, an artistic residencies program promoted by Arts at CERN. For periods of three years they establish agreements with other cities. Previously the program had been carried out in the cities of Lintz and Liverpool.
We will have the presence of the artists who won the last edition of the Collide Award, Dorota Gawęda and Eglė Kulbokaitė, who are doing their residency at Hangar during this month of November and the screenings of the works made by the award-winning artists in the two previous residencies, Rosa Menkman and Black Quantum Futurism.
Likewise, we will present the digital publication 'Collisions art-science. Notes from a choral dialogue in Barcelona', the result of a day of work with a heterogeneous group of scientists and artists who, in one way or another, are involved in the various programs of hybridization of arts and sciences that is happening currently in the city.
