#RavalKm0 Stories (2016-2018)
#RavalKm0 Stories (2016-2018) at La Capella
Jordi Puig, Laia Albert and Maria Espeus
From Saturday 24 November 2018 to Sunday 6 January 2019
#RavalKm0 is an initiative that offers training and work opportunities to unemployed people from the Raval neighbourhood, and adorns its streets, spaces and various facilities with more than 100 Christmas light arches.
Through photos taken from 2016 to 2018 by more than a hundred people who live, work or have a shop in El Raval, the exhibition #RavalKm0 Stories (2016-2018) gives an account of the #RavalKm0 project that began in 2015. Those photos serve as the basis for the production of the project’s Christmas light arches.
The show highlights the strength of a very diverse neighbourhood where people work together to improve their quality of life and co-existence.
