Synopsis: Kathy Acker’s writing and a seminal portrait by intersex photographer Del LaGrace Volcano provide a framework for exploring trans subjectivity and queer cinema. Pol Merchan’s hybrid doco flows freely from punk-era documentation to a more performance-based exploration of gender.
