Workshop: Banal production: shitposting to boost

In this workshop we will delve into the production of banal content on the Internet and social networks, in particular the "shitposting*" movement. We will reflect on why this type of "creative" content has such an impact and connects with so many people on such a global level, and we will compare it to other creative moments on the Internet (the rise of Flash animations in the 2000s), and we will try also to distill tools to make our creative practice more accessible and democratic.

The workshop questions the codes of contemporary artistic creation, and proposes to play with the meme language, in order to be able to carry out our creative projects in a much more uncomplicated way.
